THE NEW COLLECTION FROM LIMANKA FASHION HOUSE

Welcome to the world of avant-garde fashion, where every detail tells a story of life, breath, words, and creation. Limanka Fashion House, with passion and dedication, presents our New Collection—not merely a display of clothing, but a manifesto for a revolution in the approach to art and fashion.

On February 22, 2019, we opened our first and only in-house showroom at the Museum of Art in Łódź, one of the oldest institutions collecting modern art in the world. Drawing on the museum’s unique collections, we created the New Collection, which embodies the essence of our anti-capitalist brand. Avant-garde prints, plagiarism, and a commitment to the constant expansion of the overproduction of art and fashion form the foundation of our brand.

We invite you to discover the New Collection at our showroom in the ms1 Gallery. Browse through avant-garde prints, thoughtful imitations, and clothing that is not only worn but also proclaims revolutionary ideas. Let your presence become part of this performance, and let our clothing support the growth of your symbolic capital.

We aim to play a significant role in demystifying complex artistic concepts. Our products and stores are designed from the perspective of appropriation and a mercantile approach to art. We want our clothes to support the growth of your symbolic capital, and our stores to be like a magnificent exhibition for you. Long live the surface!

Experience the weight of avant-garde fashion with the BURDEN blouse, which you can try on in our store. It’s a perfect example of combining our two greatest passions—theft and tackiness. BURDEN is ripped straight from the work of an avant-garde art pioneer and sewn from environmentally unfriendly polyester. See if this performance suits you!

The NEW COLLECTION exhibition was part of the Prototypes project, which experiments with the concept of “material” using works from the Art Museum’s collection. We transform reality by using works from the museum’s collection to shape the contemporary world. This is not just a clothing presentation, but also a laboratory for new community narratives, critical artistic gestures, and forms to be reused in subsequent production cycles.

Join us on a journey through the New Collection. Discover, experiment, and reflect with us on the meaning of art and fashion in today’s world. May every element of the story we’ve created inspire your own interpretations.
