POLISH FLOWERS

National Ethnographic Museum in Warsaw, Nov. 15, 2023–Jan. 4, 2026

“Polish Flowers” was a family-friendly exhibition dedicated to the presence of flowering plants in Polish rituals, folk art, and everyday practices. Seven galleries guided visitors through the seasons and the stages of the life cycle. The exhibition incorporated textiles, scents, sounds, and objects designed for visitors to touch and interact with.

Tomasz Armada, together with Ewelina Węgiel, was responsible for the design and creation of the textile-based art installations. The works formed part of the exhibition’s multisensory space and translated its themes—flowers, rituals, the cycle of matter, and the rhythm of nature—into spatial forms. The graphics were designed by Filip Holak, and the installations were created by a team collaborating with Tomasz Armada.
