ETIQ × TOMASZ ARMADA

Fast Textile, 2025
For ETIQ, a Łódź-based manufacturer of tags and labels, Tomasz Armada designed four full-scale silhouettes in which the tag became the primary structural and decorative material. Layered, multiplied, and arranged in a modular fashion, the labels formed surfaces resembling scales, fringes, fur, ornaments, and elements of armor.
The resulting pieces included: a black coat with modular decorations made of tags; a cotton trench coat with yellow accents and “fur-like” sections achieved through dense layering of tags; black armor made of eco-leather tags; and a cubist jacket made of copper-colored eco-leather tags. All the designs were functional and intended to be worn. During the trade show, they moved around the hall on the bodies of models and members of the ETIQ team, serving as mobile, living exhibits.
ETIQ × TOMASZ ARMADA COSTUME SCULPTURES
Sourcing Expo, 2026
The second project took the form of two costume sculptures intended for display at the ETIQ booth. The first was a three-dimensional crinoline dress constructed from repeating silicone tags. The second was a black ensemble with a bustle and an elaborate ruff, made from black tags. These historical garment constructions were used to demonstrate the scale, rhythm, and artistic potential of the materials produced by the company. The ETIQ booth received an award for best exhibition presentation during the trade show.
Scope of work: artistic concept, design and production of silhouettes, costume sculptures, and presentation
